PLAY! (or Practice)

Fred Rogers may have illustrated it best: "Play is the work of childhood." We often stress PRACTICE when teaching music, but until you've discovered Delayed Gratification, it's hard to hard to understand Perseverance. Fred had it figured out though. Younger children need to PLAY their instrument more than PRACTICE their instrument.
